PERAK MIC chief Datuk G. Rajoo has urged Indians to continue to send their children to Tamil schools which he described as being the base for the growth of the Tamil language in this country.
The Government had provided free education for children and had also given the necessary financial support for the development of Tamil schools, he told reporters after attending a dinner organised by the Bukit Gantang MIC division for the recipients of the state and federal awards given by the Perak Sultan and the King recently.

Hope the government could allocate more for the tamil schools, there are still a lot without basic facilities. MIC Branches should help monitor all the Tamil schools condition and report to the State MIC reps so that the matter could be raised in State Exco Meetings.
